Good afternoon dear employer! Let me introduce myself: my name is Alexander Sokolov, I am 22 years old, single. I graduated from the Nizhny Novgorod River Colledge after I. P. Kulibin which is one of the most strongest secondary educational institutions that prepares excellent specialists. My specialty is operating activity of maritime power plants. All term papers and the diploma were passed. I have awards from the headmaster for excellent studies and a good discipline. After the graduation I did military conscription having high tolerance for stress, an excellent discipline and a great physical training. Then I got to a secure division and stood guard covert facilities. I have the second senior degree in military triathlon. I also have a badge and many positive references from the authorities. After the military service I continued my studies at the Volga State University of Water Transport the main policy of which is based on the preparation of highly qualified specialists in maritime transport. Right now I am studying full-time in electromechanical faculty specializing in operating activity of marine power plants. I am quite successful in my University studies. In my free time I constantly learn on my own everything that connects with my specialty. As a future engineer I am interested in technical literature. I have a gas – electric welder diploma and I am quite good at it. My last contract was during 4 months in 2017 in a tug. I worked in the Black and Azov seas. Our vessel took part in building a bridge and in other difficult operations. I have an experience in ship repairing. On board of the vessel the main engines, diesel generator, and also many systems and equipments were of the first class automatical. I have excellent references from the crew team and the ship manager. In 2014 I completed my contract work in a dry cargo vessel in position of a motorman – helmsman. At the end of the contract a detailed report was written and I have good references only both from the crew team and the company representatives. During the contract I got various information and experience in both repairing and maintenance of ship machineries. I took part in bunkering and handing oil – contaminated water in according to MARPOL 73/78, putting diesel – generator in parallel operation. I did an ozon – treatments station`s repairings, fire pumps` repairings. Under direction of the main mechanic I did the repairings of the fuel system of a water boiler. I also took part in repairing of hydraulic closing mechanism hold. I often dealt with ballast and fire systems. My main purpose is self-development and self-fulfillment. I frequently have private English lessons and spend a lot of time learning myself. My English level is pre - intermediate. My strongest point is analytical thinking and the ability of a quick estimation of any situations and finding solutions and being responsible for any of my actions. I get rid of any types of conflicts with any crew member, I have no bad habits and I always follow the company policy I work in. I am very serious about such issues as Environment Protections, Safety, Security, Health & Hygiene Standards, Drag & Alcohol policy. On arrival on board of a ship I find a common language with the crew rather fast, I also learn the specifics of the ship operation and its machinery, get to know the safety instructions and my duties. While carrying out my main duties I am keeping my training book in my practice for the University. This training book is necessary to complete my diploma. I always achieve my goals.
